About Spudies
Tiny Guardians. Big Places. Powerful Signals.
Spudies is a global character universe of tiny landmark guardians, born in Ireland and tuned to extraordinary places around the world. Each Guardian protects a different part of the Human Signal — the connection between people, themselves, each other and the real world.
It began with the Original 32: one Guardian for every county of Ireland, each carrying a real landmark as an antenna — Croagh Patrick's summit chapel, the Spire, the English Market, the hills of Donegal. From there the signal goes global, with international Guardians appearing at landmarks beyond Ireland. Each one protects its own part of the Human Signal: mental health and emotional wellbeing, attention, truth, kindness, creativity, different minds, memory, food, freedom, courage and the natural world.
At the centre of the game is Signal HQ: your Flock, real-world missions, Guardian Bonds, live Signal Seasons and a growing map of places, stories and causes. Through the Passport and You've Been Spudied movement, Spudies turns screen time into a reason to notice, create, travel, connect and step back into the real world.
