SPUDIES · STEP FORWARD

Wear what you stand for.

One pair. Two completely different shoes. Each shoe has its own colours, artwork and cause. They are deliberately mismatched, never copies or simple recolours of each other.

You do not need to buy Spudies shoes to join. Wear mismatched shoes you already own and give each one a meaning.

THE IDEA

Different on purpose.

The two shoes are not supposed to match. Each tells a completely different visual story. Together they show two things worth standing for and start a conversation about what matters.

Wear two different shoes

Use shoes you already own, mix two colours, or wear an official Spudies pair. Buying anything is never required.

Choose what they stand for

Each shoe represents something you care about. Peace. Nature. Different minds. Safer technology. Kindness. Mental wellbeing. Or causes that matter to you.

Make the Signal visible

Do the Signal Step, take a simple shoe-only photo if you want, and tell people what your two shoes mean.

Pass it forward

Pair it with a You've Been Spudied card, a kind act or a real-world mission. One small visible choice becomes part of the Human Signal.

THE SIGNAL STEP

Give the movement one recognisable move.

Feet together. Step one shoe forward. Bring the other beside it. Point to what each shoe means, then open your arms as the Signal switches on.

YOU'VE BEEN SPUDIED

Turn the Signal into an action.

Wear the causes. Then do something with them. Leave a kind note, pass a Spudied card, notice a real place or help somebody. The movement is stronger when the shoes lead to action.

THE RULE THAT MATTERS MOST

The cause matters more than the footwear.

Step Forward should be open to anybody. Old shoes, new shoes, homemade badges, different colours or official Spudies pairs. If the two shoes help you show what you care about, the Signal is working.
